Stag Night @ Chipstead Golf Club (click link for pictures)
Bank Holiday Monday 31st May
On MONDAY 31 May a Chipstead & Coulsdon CC XI captained by Geoff Evans will play an Old Walcountians XI captained by Richard Sherwin. No disrespect to the Captains but there will be a lot of 'old' or 'older' past and present Members reliving their youth!! The occasion is designed to celebrate the opening of the new Pavilion and commence our Anniversary celebrations.

Tour to Spain
One item I would like some feedback on is the proposed Cricket Tour to Spain. No doubt many of you know Geoff Evans who now resides in Spain and is able and willing to organise such a Tour. If we do proceed we are considering playing fixtures on Sat , Sun , Tues and Wed with a 'rest' day ( perhaps golf? ) on the Monday. What I need is feedback on timing and indeed the concept of an Overseas Tour. We are either considering Spain during 2 week in October 2010 or over half term ,which is likely to be end October. The half term slot would give an opportunity to families to consider joining the Tour. Undoubtedly flights in particular will be more expensive over half term.
At this stage The Committee need guidance from the Membership on preferences, even if you prefer us to consider a 2/3 day Tour end August/early Sept in UK. Please e-mail @ ianchilds@ryman.co.uk with your views.
