Welcome to the Chipstead Coulsdon Walcountians Colts section.
Undoubtedly, the long term future of any cricket club is dependant on running a successful colts section, and at CCWCC, we try to do just that.
Currently, we coach boys and girls from age 8 to 17 from 6.15pm onwards on Friday evenings (from late-April until mid-August) at our picturesque ground at High Road, Chipstead.
During 2009, we have fielded sides in the East Surrey League and Cup at U9, U10, U13 and U15 level, as well as running a strong Academy side which takes part in Development League cricket on Sunday afternoons.
As well as playing for the colts sides, many of our junior players regularly play in the adult teams, where they gain invaluable experience.
Thoughts have already turned to next season (in which time, we hope to be graced by a new clubhouse and practice facilities) and the possibility of running even more sides at the appropriate age levels.
We have several Grade 2 qualified coaches, as well as others currently working towards their qualifications. Through the "Chance to Shine" program, they also attend several local schools, coaching children who may not have had the opportunity to play before.
CCWCC are always open to new members, so if your child wishes to come along, please feel free to turn up.
